Our Story

Location of Ceremony

The Ceremony

The ceremony will be held on the east side of beautiful Greenlake. There is a convenient parking lot right by the location. Follow the signs from the parking lot, a short walk down to the lake will get you to the right spot! Ceremony will begin at 5:00pm, guests may arrive between 4:45-5:00pm.Some seating will be available and reserved for immediate family and those who cannot stand for and extended time. IF IT RAINS the ceremony will be held reception hall.

Details

Jim is Andy's younger brother. He and Andy have become true friends as adults and are now thrilled to be raising their sons as close cousins. Jim's sons, Robert and Benson, are only weeks younger then Andy's son, Cameron. They look forward to seeing what trouble the boys can get into as they grow up!

Kim is Marlo's best friend since age 13. They grew up together in Michigan and spent countless hours at their home studio, Diane's School of Dance. They got into way too much trouble together, so many good times, and helped each other throughout the hardest of times. Kim and Marlo went to Western Michigan University together majoring in dance and spent a phenomenal three years on one of their biggest adventures together. Kim is more like a sister then a friend and Marlo is very thankful to have her and her daughter, Ellery, flying in from Michigan for the wedding!Kimmy is hilarious, beautiful, and easy to spot with her huge smile and loud laugh.

Jason is Andy's cousin on his Dad's side. Growing up Andy and Jason were unseperable, even today they hang out nearly weekly playing corn hole, making BBQ, watching the UFC, and drinking their favorite beer or beverage :)

Karen and Marlo are connected at the hip and heart. After years of friendship Marlo and Karen now direct eXit SPACE school of dance together. They spend countless hours together each week and continue to laugh and celebrate their way through this blessed, dancing life. Karen is Marlo's biggest supporter, her partner in the business of dance, and one of her dearest friends in Seattle. She is loud, vivacious, beautiful, and easy to spot with her blonde hair, bombshell smile, and larger then life personality.

Julie and Marlo met during Marlo's first year in Seattle. Julie was a dancer in a class Marlo taught and after a year of dancing together they began their now 10 year friendship. Julie and Marlo have a very rich history as friends who have shared some of their best times and worst times together. Both have celebrated the births of their first children, countless dance performances, wine filled nights of laughing, and always being there for one another. Julie is a tiny lil Guamanian fireball. Easy to spot with her contagious laugh and beautiful smile.

Andy is Marlo's big brother. He lives in Michigan with his beautiful wife, Leslie, and their son, Everett. Andy and Andy are actually quite similar and is probably why Marlo loves them both so much! Andy and Marlo are so thankful to have her big brother stand up in the wedding and show his love and support for their marriage.

What means most to us is to have our friends and family gather in celebration of our wedding. If you would like to give a gift we would appreciate any monetary help towards our honeymoon which we will be taking in 2017-18.
