Please RSVP by April 1st (no foolin' please!) so we can provide our vendors with accurate numbers. Unfortunately, any RSVPs not received by this date will not be accommodated. If you cannot attend, also please let us know by this date so we can make future plans to celebrate together.
Whats the dress code?
Semi-formal cocktail attire (dresses for ladies, dress shirts, ties and slacks for gentlemen) that you feel comfortable in (you can wear your Easter outfits- we won't tell anyone). April in Minnesota can be chilly, so please feel free to wear a suit jacket or sweater as well, as we will have access to an outdoor patio in the reception space.
Can I bring my kids?
If they are listed on your invitation-yes! For younger or fussy kids, St. Francis has a cry room located on the second floor. For the reception at the Science Museum, we will have access to a couple rooms off the main event space of the Elements Cafe, were parents can take children if they need some quiet time away from the action.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited venue capacity and budgetary restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your invitation. When you RSVP on our site you will be able to see if you have a plus one.
Do I need to be Catholic to attend the Ceremony Mass? When should we arrive?
No- people of all faiths are welcome to attend. We will have mass guides in each of the pews for everyone to follow along with. The mass itself will be around an hour long. Please plan on arriving 10-15 minutes before noon to find your seat in the pews and get settled.
How do we get there? Is there parking?
For our guests, we will be providing discounted parking spots in the Science Museum's lot (more info to come). St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church has a free parking lot on its south side, as well as plenty of street parking. We ask that you refrain from parking directly in front of the main entrance of the church, as this is where the wedding party's vehicle will need to park.
If you are planning on drinking we encourage you to secure a designated driver or rideshare for the night, as we cannot have guests leave any vehicles in the Science museum parking lot per our contract and we want to make sure everyone gets home safe.
Are you offering a hotel block?
We are not but there are plenty of hotels in downtown St. Paul to choose from- please see the "Hotels" page on this website for details.
If we are coming from out of town, what are some things we can do?
Please see our "Things to do" page for suggestions :)
