Our love story began the old-fashioned way... on a dating app. Matt tried to think of an interesting first date idea, and Marni shot his escape room idea down, because "just with two people?" Don't worry, we later did an escape room ;).

Our first date was at Kapow Noodle Bar in Mizner. We were both nervous and shy and ended up ordering two dishes that neither of us liked just to please the other. Needless to say, we barely touched our meal, but neither of us wanted the date to end. We both felt a spark and decided to continue to spend time getting to know each other.

Matt lived in Ft. Lauderdale, and Marni lived in Boca, and with our busy schedules, we had to wait all week to see each other. We looked forward to every weekend together and went on lots of fun dates. It was quickly clear we were falling in love. The next several months were nothing short of a fairytale. We went on adventures, traveled to some of our favorite places, and became inseparable.

After we moved in together, became AirBnB hosts, and finally fit all of Matt's sneakers in the closet, we were ready to get away on our long-awaited trip to Hawaii where Matt pulled off the most magical and epic proposal. He planned a surprise proposal on the beach, and, of course, Marni said YES!

We're so excited to begin the next chapter of our lives together as husband and wife, and we can't wait to celebrate our big day with all of our closest friends and family.
