Guest Transportation
Two sprinter vans will be making a single loop for pick up prior to the ceremony, the schedule is as follows:
3:45pm: Pick-up at River Pines Resort
4:00pm: Pick-up at Sierra Sky Lodge
We kindly ask all guests to be at their designated pick-up points five minutes before the scheduled time.
Pick up and drop off points will be right outside the main lobby.

Return transportation will be provided via two sprinter vans, with shuttles starting at 10:00pm and running continuously until midnight!
How to Get Here
However you get here, we’re so grateful you decided to make the trip! There are three main airports that you can fly into but the choice is largely up to you and how you want to spend your time in California.
All the below listed airports require renting a car and driving to our location. We recommend booking your flights and car rentals before the end of April. For more information on vehicular transportation for specific events, please keep reading and check out the schedule on the homepage.
San Francisco International Airport
SFO is a great choice if you’re looking to spend the week before our wedding in the city or wine country. July in San Francisco can be foggy and cold, which will be a contrast from Graeagle’s hot summer weather, but if you don’t mind the four hour drive to Graeagle and want to check out SF - this is for you!
Sacramento International Airport
For folks that aren’t as interested in seeing San Francisco, SMF is a great option with just under a three hour drive to Twenty Mile House.
Reno-Tahoe International Airport
RNO is also a great choice if you’re looking to bop in for the weekend and brunch, but then head out shortly after (or make a visit to Lake Tahoe!). You’ll fly into Reno, Nevada and make a shorter one hour drive to Graeagle.
Where to Stay
For the weekend of our wedding festivities, you have a wide variety of options for lodging. However, Graeagle is a coveted destination for weddings during July and many lodging venues do host their own weddings that make lodging competitive. We recommend that you book before the end of April for the closest, most amenable locations depending on your preference.
AirBnb and VRBO are both VERY viable options if you’re comfortable staying outside of a resort, hotel, or motel.
Nakoma Resort
About 30 minutes drive from our venue, Twenty Mile House, this is the most chic of all the accommodations. It boasts luxury suites with state of the art onsite gym, swimming pool, spa, indoor/outdoor restaurant, and golf course. Occupancy is 2-4 per room, and rates average $300 - $650 per night. River Pines Resort
Located just 10 minutes from the venue! River Pines Resort is within walking distance to the town of Graeagle and minutes away from the Lakes Basin Recreational Area, golf courses, and hiking and biking trails. Occupancy is 2-4 per room, and rates average $95 - $150 per night.

Lodge At Whitehawk Ranch
This resort features private studio and two-bedroom cabins with magnificent views of pine-covered mountains and meadows, as well as a full service bar and restaurant and on-site golf course. It is 15 miles from the venue (approximately a 20 minute drive) and about 1 hour 15 minutes from the Reno/Tahoe airport. Please note there is a minimum 2-night stay. Occupancy is 1-5 per cabin and rates start at $245 per night.
