Our Wedding

<p style="text-align: left;">Once upon a time there was this love story that is like no other :). So for those that want to know the story behind how we met. My friend Elizabeth, after all these years finally talked me into getting a dating app. I never thought I would do this. I received this heart from a man named Marshall from Richmond IN. My attention was caught right away. I couldn’t believe he was in my current town. Seemed too good to be true. So I “hearted” back and we started a conversation. I did my research on him and knew he worked in healthcare. Well the very next day my friend Kayla and I decided to grab lunch at Texas Roadhouse. It was a random decision and we actually weren’t originally going here but plans changed and that is where we went. The restaurant was empty. It was a random 3pm lunch. I glance up at our waiter who was coming to our table and immediately freaked out. As soon as he left the table I looked at my friend and said omg that’s Marshall, the guy I started messaging last night. Back story- I had NO clue he worked there too. Marshall picked up at Texas Roadhouse randomly and actually hadn’t worked there in months. Well this day he picked up and we were his table. Now tell me that isn’t fate :) We have been together since day 1 of meeting. From day 1 I knew in my heart that I was going to marry this man. I just felt it in my soul right away that he was like no other man, he was going to be my soul mate. I have had a very tragic and traumatic history and most of my close friends know what I’m talking about. There were multiple times I thought I was not going to live through what I was put through. Then through tragedy came the best thing to ever happen to the girls and I. Through tragedy came to me finding true love. Going through tragedy gave my beautiful girls the father that they need and deserve finally. I had to be both parents to these girls from the ages of 6 months and 2 years old until Marshall came into our lives 5 years later. I learned so much in all the years I was alone and about self worth. Now I have what I never imagined possible. I have the life I’ve always dreamed of. Marshall and his daughter Martha are the best things to ever happen to us. I can never imagine life without them. They make every single day special. So many memories made over these past 2 years. I feel like we’ve been a family for 10+ years even tho it’s been way less. We are going to elope privately in March but cannot wait to celebrate with all of you in August. This will be a dinner reception including a small reenactment of our vows. Feel free to bring tents and fishing poles and camp out with us. There will be plenty of land to stay on. We are going to dance the night away :) We can’t wait to see what this next chapter in our story reveals :)</p>
