Martha and Kevin are officially introduced to each other at a mutual friend's graduation party, after 9 years of not seeing each other (Fun Fact: the 2 went to the same middle school, where Martha was a cheerleader and Kevin played basketball, so they knew of each other. Martha was unknowingly cheering for her future husband at basketball games).

Martha and Kevin go on their first date after months of on-again and off-again conversations.

Kevin asks Martha to be his girlfriend. The two officially start dating!

Martha and Kevin go on the first of their many adventures together, to San Antonio, Texas. The River Walk reminded Martha of Venice and how she would love to go to Venice with Kevin one day (Spoiler Alert: 2 weeks after Kevin proposed the two were on a gondola ride through the canals of Venice).

The two grew closer, making more memories traveling, hanging with their friends and family, and all the mundane everyday in between.

Martha, through the encouragement and support of Kevin, purchases her first apartment where they intend on creating many memories together.

Kevin surprises Martha during a walk in Astoria Park. He says he’s going to ask her to marry him, but she doesn’t believe him. He then pulls out the ring and gets on one knee. She enthusiastically says "Yes!". They immediately celebrate with their families through a surprise party carefully planned by Kevin.
