Judith is Martha's younger sister and dear friend. Though younger in years Judith has the maturity and wisdom befitting an older sister. Judith is always there to give wholesome advice, to have a good belly laugh with and she has the biggest heart! Martha's earliest memory with Judith is making up a secret language in the back of Dr. Seuss picture books when they were supposed to be in bed.
Anna Marchand - Bridesmaid
Anna is Martha older sister and is in the "older crowd" of her 11 siblings. Although growing up they might not have been super close the years have narrowed that gap and Anna is a dear sister and friend. Anna will always affirm you, loves to have a good time, to party and has such a kind and sweet heart. Anna has been an amazing role model for Martha when it comes to trust and perseverance in her faith. Martha's earliest memory with Anna is when Anna taught Martha how to tie her shoes!
Frances Jardine - Bridesmaid
Frances is Martha's older sister by 4 years! Frances has been a dear friend and sister for many years and has been an inspiration for Martha. Seeing her grow into a beautiful wife and mother she has given Martha such a good example that she will take into her own Married life. Frances is always down for a long, fun chat whenever you need. Martha's earliest memory with Frances is when she would teach Martha and Judith ballet in their bedroom -still waiting for the big showcase!
Annie Chisholm - Bridesmaid
Annie is Martha's soul sister. Annie is always there when you need her and is a wonderful inspiration to everyone she meets. There is never a dull moment, filled with edifying talks about morals, faith and advice, or the best laughs. Martha's earliest memory with Annie is when Martha heard Annie singing the most beautiful praise and worship and after (during a get together) they caught up like old friends when "they had never met before"
Jodi Grobbecker - Bridesmaid
Jodi is Martha's dear best friend. Martha and Jodi have been coworkers for 4 years and became fast friends outside of work spending long hours at coffee shops chatting away about everything and anything or taking their dogs out for play dates. Jodi is always down for any new adventure and Martha can always count on her for a listening ear and some good advice. Martha's earliest memory with Jodi is when she met Jodi at work on a shift and they found out they both knew Annie Chisholm!! (See above)
Sarah Helmers - Bridesmaid
Sarah is Martha's sister-in-law and dear friend! Sarah has such a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor. when Sarah married Martha's brother (Adam) Martha was overjoyed and now enjoys good chats and laughs with Sarah as well as being an aunty to two of the cutest little ones. Martha is inspired by Sarah's consistently chill and joyful motherhood and how she supports her husband, and will take her example into her own married life. Martha's earliest memory with Sarah is when (before she was even dating her brother) they would run into each other on their Saturday morning bus route in London ON.
Joseph Mendonca - Best Man
Robin has known Joseph for 23 years which makes sense since, Joseph is Robin's younger brother (and main man!). Robin loves that Joseph is easy going, wise and always up for sitting down and having a beer. He always looks forward to Joseph's visits home so they can have some good brotherly talk about whatever. They also have a ton of inside jokes that only brothers would get! Robins earliest memory with Joseph is when he met Joseph for the first time a few days after he was born! Since then Robin and Joseph have been close brothers and friends!
Michael Walecki - Groomsman
Michael is one of Robin's closest friends (and Martin's brother - see below!). Mike's spontaneity is contagious and Robin knows that he can always call him for pretty much anything whether for a pick me up, insight on a decision, or to share great news. To top it off, Robin has has some great memories with Michael which include their "claim to fame" camping in the Amazon jungle! However, one memory that always stands out is a road trip to Quebec over 15 years ago where they bought durags and just found out that they were really down with each other! Not much has changed!
Martin Walecki - Groomsman
Martin is one of Robins oldest closest friends. Robin can always count on Martin for a good conversation, laughs and solving the world's problems. Martin can always be counted on for motivation and encouragement (especially on long distance runs!). Martin and Robin have spent many good times together especially in the "good ol'days" when Robin lived in Mississauga. Some of Robin's favourite memories include playing the guitar and jamming out with Martin at YTOL retreats!
David Kulas - Groomsman
David is a staple in Robin's life with their friendship dating back to 2004. Robin knows that he can always have a laugh but also call David anytime to have a deep conversation. David is one of those guys who is always there for a friend in need and can be counted on to "get er done." Robin has spent many good times with David including their most recent trip to Poland together! Robins earliest memory with David meeting him at a house party. They sat in a corner and talked and hit it off! They have been friends since!
Paul Platt - Groomsman
Paul and Robin have been friends for 25 years making Paul Robin's oldest friend! They met when they were kids living in the Ottawa Valley and till today, they can spend hours talking on the phone about everything and anything. Robin can always count on Paul for a kind word and good advice. Paul is always up for a new adventure and has instilled in Robin a love for back country camping (although it took a while!). Robin always looks forward to their annual back country camping trips and knows he has a true friend in Paul!
Peter Stankiewicz - Groomsman
Peter goes all the way back to Grade 8 with Robin! Robin can always count on Peter to lift up his mood with a good laugh even when talking about life's problems. One of the memories they often laugh about are the detentions and trouble they got into for their bad behavior in school. They were glad they had each other to turn to when the world seemed against them (probably rightly so!). Today, they have not only grown up but also find in each other support, laughter and good times!
