Surrounded by the Ozark and Boston Mountains, Fayetteville and the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) area offer outdoor activities with extensive paved- and soft-surface trails throughout the city, as well as state parks and national forest just outside the city.
Fayetteville is home to the University of Arkansas, and has many local breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants. A Farmer's Market runs Saturday morning on the downtown square. Several locations near town offer world class mountain biking trails.
Outside of town, Bentonville is home to Crystal Bridges Art Museum (free admittance). Eureka Springs, Hot Springs National Park, and the Buffalo National River area are places to consider visiting if you decide to extend your stay in NWA.
