1. When and where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding will be on August 2, 2025, in Fort Wayne Indiana . The ceremony will be at the Greater Progressive Baptist Church followed by the Reception at the Fort Wayne community a enter .

2. What is the dress code?

Cocktail Attire. Cocktail attire strikes the perfect balance between formal and fun. For men, this typically means a well-tailored suit or a blazer paired with dress pants and a button-up shirt—ties are optional, depending on the level of formality you prefer. For women, cocktail attire usually means a chic dress that hits around the knee or just above, but anything from a sleek midi dress to a stylish jumpsuit fits the bill. Think elegant and refined, but still a bit festive—perfect for enjoying a celebratory atmosphere!

3. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

4. What are the wedding colors?

Emerald green, white, gold, and black.

5. Are there hotel accommodations nearby?

Yes! Downtown Fort Wayne has 3 major hotels, minutes away for our ceremony an d reception locations . Details can be found on the Travel & Accommodations page

6. Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide transport services for everyone. You can use the on demand ride share option available in the city Lyft and Uber for about less than 20$ based on the distance.

7. What airport should I fly into?

The closest airport is Fort Wayne International Airport . From there it’s about 20 minutes to the ceremony and reception venue .

8. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony starts promptly at 4 pm. We recommend arriving at least 15–30 minutes early. The doors will be opened at 3:30 pm .

9. Can I bring a plus one?

Plus-ones may or may not have been assigned to your family. When you RSVP, simply log in with your name. If any additional guests are included under your invitation, their names will appear alongside yours.

10. Are kids welcome?

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. However some specific friends and family have their kids listed as their plus ones and guests.

Will there be a registry?

No! But if you want to bless us by a cash donation you can do so via our website under « Cash fund » or at the reception a card box will be available for you to drop your envelope.

12. What kind of food will be served?

We’ll be serving a buffet style dinner with options for various dietary needs. Let us know if you have any allergies or preferences.

13. Will there be a specific time for speeches or toasts?

Yes, toasts will be given during the reception.

14. Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you take as many pictures as you want however please be mindful of our photographer who will capture our special day. Make sure you are not in their was . A QR code will be available for you to upload your picture and videos so we can enjoy the moments from your perspective.

15. Will there be a dance floor?

Absolutely! Bring your dancing shoes and be ready to celebrate!
