Our Wedding

It all started on a cool night in November after a softball game. Cody was hanging out with his former Cigna coworkers, including Mary’s college best friend, Emily. Mary and Emily had plans to see their favorite band at a nearby bar, and Emily (being the matchmaker she didn’t even know she was) dragged Cody and a few friends along. As soon as they met, it was serendipity or so Mary says. Cody’s version? He just thought she was cool for rocking a vintage Angels jacket (which she was pretty sure was an L.A. team). A few months later, Mary invited Cody to join her birthday brewery tour, and the rest is (almost) history! The only surprise left? When Cody walked Mary home that night, she casually mentioned, “Oh yeah, I have a dog.” What she didn’t mention right away was that said dog was a Great Dane named Maya — who was roughly the size of a small horse. Thankfully, Maya decided Cody could stick around!
