Our Wedding

Mary and Tanner originally met each other in 7th grade algebra class. They went through the rest of middle school, high school and college together without running into each other very often. In fact, the one time they ran into each other at App State, Mary didn’t even believe that Tanner had attended the same high school as she had(he did, she just didn’t notice). It was not until their late twenties that Tanner noticed that Mary was working at a coffee shop in Cornelius. This chance encounter was the spark needed for them to begin talking to one another and discovering that they both had more in common than anyone would have ever thought. Mary captivated Tanner with her angelic beauty and a mind like a whip.&nbsp; In the time since, they have bonded over their love for outdoor recreation, travelling and sharing time with family and friends and most importantly, hanging out with their dog, Dixie. Mary and Tanner have brought out the best in one another and reached new heights in their careers over the last few years. Mary is the Director of over a dozen stores for her coffee company and Tanner has achieved more success in the last few years at his job as a Winemaker than he ever had. The complimentary nature of their careers is a reflection of how they each have their role and help the other when the time is right just like there is a right time for coffee and a right time for wine ;) Everyone should be so lucky to have a partner who is strong and capable in the areas where the other can be helped. Shortly after their engagement in March 2023, Mary and Tanner moved in together in Mooresville, NC. While their schedules can be jam packed at times, they both find the time to do what is truly important, which is relaxing at home with the little dog, sharing time with friends and family, going skiing/snowboarding in the winter and scooting around the lake on the jet ski in the summer. Please join them on June, 22nd, 2024 to celebrate their love with a day of merriment and celebration in the high country of North Carolina.&nbsp;
