For those flying in, you will want to fly to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport, then either drive or take a shuttle to the Athens/Bogart area (1.5-2 hours). Groome Transportation provides a shuttle service between Hartsfield and Athens.

The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at the Thompson House and Gardens, in Bogart, Georgia.

We have secured blocks of rooms at discounted group rates for the nights of December 27 and 28 at two hotels. Rooms must be booked by November 27 in order to get the group rate.

Holiday Inn Express Athe ns - University Area (513 W Broad St, Athens, GA 30601): this hotel is more centrally located and convenient to Downtown Athens. It's about a 20 minute drive to the Thompson House and 15 minutes to our home. The group rate is $139/night (plus taxes and fees) with free breakfast and wi-fi. Parking is $10/night per car.
