Golf Outing

There will be a round of golf early Thursday morning (8am or so) at Heather Ridge Golf Course. Anyone who is interested please contact Andrew (415-786-4327). Colorado Rockies Game

For those staying in Denver through Saturday, we are planning on getting a group together to attend the Padres-Rockies game at 6:10pm at Coors Field (downtown Denver). We will plan to meet at Wynkoop Brewery (1634 18th St, Denver, CO 80202) at 4pm and will walk to the game from there. Please get "Rockpile" tickets (Section 402, Rows 21-30). You're also welcome to just get them at the box office too when we walk over! Text Andrew (415-786-4327) with any questions!

Optional Wedding Weekend Events

You can edit the date for check-in for whatever day is appropriate for your travel plans. All wedding transportation will arrive and leave from the Inverness. Feel free to also take advantage of the Breckenridge brewery, golf course, spa, swimming pool, and more! The golf course is semi-private but available to guests of the hotel at a rate of $150 for 18 holes and the driving range is free.

Andrew and Mary Carol both moved to Denver in 2021 and have been soaking in everything that Colorado has to offer ever since! We hope you use this wedding weekend as an excuse to seek out of some of Colorado's beauty as well! We have attached some activities in Colorado Springs (appx. 1 hour south of The Inverness hotel). If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, feel free to text Mary Carol for some ideas!

This is a great place for hiking of all levels and has some pretty incredible red rocks!

Garden of the Gods

If you plan to have your kids in town, this would be a fun day activity! You can pay $5 to feed giraffes and ride an old ski lift above the zoo.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Pikes Peak, the inspiration for the song, "America the Beautiful", summits 14,115 ft. You can experience the beauty of this mountain by driving to the top or making a reservation on the train to the top! Adult tickets are $58.50, and children are $48.50.

The Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway

This is a fun train ride through the Royal Gorge along the Arkansas river. This is a 2-hour drive from the hotel, but if you planned a day around Colorado Springs, it is worth it! Adult tickets vary by day so check out their website. Reservations are required.
