The wedding ceremony will be held at the Holy Cross Event Deck, situated at the top of Vail Mountain in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The Holy Cross Event Deck offers majestic 360-degree views of the Vail Valley and Gore Mountain Range. Once you arrive at the top of Vail Mountain there is a golf cart that can take you to the ceremony. There is also water and bathrooms available on top of the mountain.

The gondola ride from the base of the mountain to the top takes about 20 minutes, plus a 5-minute walk. Please arrive at the Eagle Bahn Gondola between 4:10 - 4:30pm, to pick up your pre-paid lift ticket.

The Holy Cross Event deck is accessed via riding the Eagle Bahn Gondola up the Vail mountain. Pick up your complimentary gondola ticket at the Lionshead Village ticket booth. Enjoy the scenic ride up the gondola. After exiting the gondola, follow the path for a short (5 minute) walk over to the deck. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy the amazing views and scenic walkways!

The reception is being held in The Great Room & Terrace within The Arrabelle at Vail Square. The Arrabelle is just steps from the gondola base.

Attire is Summer Cocktail. Wear shoes you can walk in! There is a 5 minute walk on a gravel path once you are at the top of the gondola. It can get windy on top of the mountain and is ten degrees cooler than at the base. You might want a light jacket.

Vail in August is beautiful! The weather is around 75 degrees during the day and as low as 40 degrees at night. We suggest bringing layers to be most comfortable.

Please remember you are at 8,000 feet above sea level in Vail and you may feel it! Try to hydrate before traveling and drink plenty of water throughout your visit. One out of eight tourist will get altitude sickness, In short, never stop hydrating.

During the summer, parking decks in Vail are free during the day! Ask your hotel or Airbnb for information regarding parking on their own grounds. The buses are also a great way to get around!

Yes, all cell phone carriers will work on top of Vail Mountain. This is an unplugged ceremony so please refrain from using your phone.
