Decker and MC's wedding

It was June of 2019 when we matched on Tinder. Decker, going into his senior year at Purdue University (Boiler up!), and MC going into a new school year as a classroom assistant. We were enjoying the last dregs of summer, not expecting to find a love match in the corners of Tinder... Clearly something went extremely right, and it was a match, and after a bit of accidental ghosting, our first date was set. Decker was living on the North side of Indianapolis that summer for an internship and MC was living on the South side, much closer than Purdue to Indy, and soon after the first date, we began to spend as much time together as possible before we would have to eventually split for our respective school year starts. Not long into the start of the school year, July 27th to be exact, we made it official. We made a point to see each other weekly and committed to communicating frequently and always had the weekend to look forward to, we often say that this strong connection and communication effort set us up for the best success possible, because in that same year, COVID19 shut down life as we knew it. Decker came down to Indy one last time, on MC's birthday, thinking it would be two weeks without seeing each other, that quickly turned into two months as life was altered due to the Pandemic sweeping the nation. While MC had known for a while, seeing Decker drive off that night and not knowing how long they would be apart, confirmed that she did not want to ever have to say goodbye to Decker again. We quickly transitioned to facetime dates, watching the same movie or show at the same time, cooking the same meal on facetime, and keeping up that communication. When the world opened up again and we were reunited, Decker was beginning to job hunt as it was now time to graduate. We knew that no matter where Decker got a job, MC would be right there with him, and so we landed in Cincinnati. What was supposed to be six months in Cincy faded into a year, and on October 15, 2021 overlooking Cincinnati, Decker got down on one knee and proposed. It was the easiest yes MC has ever said. We have truly enjoyed this time to grow together as adults, to strengthen our relationship, and only confirm that we would say yes a hundred times over and now it's time to celebrate and make it official!

In place of a block code, guests will need to call the hotel directly at 812-934-6262 and request the Dickinson Horninger Wedding Party. There are 15 double queen and 15 king rooms available! If you would like to reserve only one night that is an option as well!
