Things to Do
We are so grateful to have you with us in Milwaukee for our big day! In case you need some recommendations during your time in our favorite city (especially during the ~Catholic Gap~ between our ceremony and reception), here are some of the places we love to go!
FOOD
Flourchild Pizza
This is one of Mary Claire and Vince's favorite pizza spots, and it is walking distance from the hotel! Our favorite pizza is the Club Banger!
Milwaukee Public Market
The perfect place to go if you're not sure what you're in the mood to have! There are lots of local vendors for a quick bite to eat, a casual lunch, or a sweet treat! We especially love La Masa's empanadas and the cookies at C. Adam's Bakery.
Zarletti
One of our favorite Italian spots in Milwaukee. It is cozy Italian restaurant known for its pasta and wine—perfect for a night out downtown!
Elsa's On the Park
A cute and trendy burger spot in downtown Milwaukee! It is run by the same people who own Kopp's, which is a famous Milwaukee burger and custard place!
Sweet Diner
This is a cute and trendy brunch spot in the Third Ward. If you go, you have to try the chorizo hash (Vince's fav) or the berry pancakes (MC's fav)!
Café Benelux
Another Third Ward favorite! Benelux is great for brunch, lunch, or dinner, and its rooftop patio is especially fun when the weather is nice!

The Outsider
A super fun rooftop cocktail bar in the Third Ward. We love going here for a drink and to enjoy the view of Milwaukee before or after dinner!
Deer Camp MKE | Camp Bar
A Wisconsin-themed bar in the Deer District (near the Buck's stadium). It has a super cute up-north vibe and all the bar popcorn you could ever dream of!
The Harp Irish Pub
A riverfront bar that is a Milwaukee staple and one of Mary Claire's favorite spots during her time at Marquette!
Tied House Milwaukee
Another fun cocktail spot in the Third Ward. We love sitting out on their patio, and they always have fun seasonal drinks!
Coffee Shops
Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. | Milwaukee Public Market
Another favorite coffee shop! We highly recommend the Honeybee (if you want hot) or the Bee Sting (if you want iced) - one of Mary Claire's favorite treats on the way to a night shift!
Grace Coffee Co.
One of our favorite coffee spot in the Third Ward! It has a super cozy vibe and is located right on the River Walk.
Colectivo Coffee Lakefront
A classic Milwaukee coffee shop! The Lakefront location is the perfect spot to grab an iced coffee and take a walk along Lake Michigan. There are lots of other locations around the city as well!
Activities
Summerfest
The world's largest music festival, located right on Milwaukee's lakefront! There are tons of exciting and different musicians and bands performing throughout the day!
Milwaukee Art Museum
One of the most iconic places in Milwaukee. It features stunning views of Lake Michigan and some incredible artwork!
Lakefront Brewery
One of the most popular local breweries in Milwaukee. They have the best brewery tour in the city (in our humble opinions), and they have the best cheese curds too!
