Emily is Mary's older and favorite (only) sister. Emily and Mary definitely had the stereotypical childhood of Mary being the annoying little sister and they were constantly fighting. When Emily moved out to go to college, they realized life was boring without the other at home and have been super close ever since. A fun fact about Emily is her and her husband are going to every lighthouse in Michigan, they've been to 40 out of 129!

Brad is the younger and much handsomer brother of the groom. After knowing the groom for all 23 years of his life, he has the honor of standing next to Matt on his special day. A fun fact about Brad is that if you need need power washing or anything done outside your home he is your man after starting his business, Westgate Washers!

Mary and Molly met while working intramural sports in college. They became roommates even after Molly said she didn't want to live with a bunch of girls(Mary included). Jokes on Molly because they were roommates for 8 years. Fun fact: They've traveled to 21 states and 4 countries together!

Brendan is a childhood friend of the groom. While growing up playing all sports, nobody has spent more time on the golf course with the with Matt (and lost more money to) than Brendan from playing on the high school golf team together to carrying our friends in scramble matches. A fun fact about Brendan is that he also walked with Matt at high school graduation and will now be standing next to him on his special day.

Hannah and Mary met while Mary did her internship at St. Mary's. They bonded over growing up on farms, loving rum, and puzzles. They became roommates and wouldn't have made it through quarantine without each other (and Tiger King). Fun fact about Hannah is she is a avid plant mom and has about 60 plants at home!

Aidan is a friend and former roommate of the groom. Aidan and Matt met in Fall 2016 at CMU and moved into an apartment together the following year making many memories at school between Thursday nights in downtown Mt P., playing rocket league, and staying up until 2 in the morning studying frog calls for Aidan's classes. A fun fact about Aidan is that he is an avid hunter who once shot a 13 point buck!

Kennedy and Mary met in college and instantly became best friends. Kennedy was a huge part in Mary coming out of her shell and not being afraid to try new things. They've been by each other's sides through it all over the last nine years; late bar nights, getting stranded kayaking down the river, and Kennedy having her first child. A fun fact about Kennedy is she shapes the minds of our youth as a 3rd grade teacher! She also has a magnificent singing voice

Jason was the next door neighbor kid and childhood friend to Matt. Jason and Matt spent much time of their childhood watching, playing, and arguing about sports. Matt was lucky to stand next to Jason when he married his wife, Madeline, and now three years forward Jason gets to do the same. Jason is well known for becoming a nurse and his attempts to play beer league hockey 4 nights a week, and his world renowned "Neature" videos from his trips to Alaska!

Meg and Mary met through Molly at Ferris and become friends. It was after college and moving to Grand Rapids that they became even closer friends! Meg and Mary love tie dying shirts for their softball team, chatting about life for hours, and crying while watching soliders coming home videos. Fun fact about Meg is you can always find her at any type gathering next to the pet!

Zac is a childhood friend of Matt. From the countless hours of sports video games spent between Matt, Brendan, Jason, Aaron and himself, Zac (claims to be) the best of the bunch. Zac is also known for his humor which was shown at Matt's Michigan State themed 10th birthday party when Zac showed up with all Michigan apparel with a green dot on his nose. A fun fact about Zac is that Matt and himself used to walk into the second grade class room together everyday and "put on a show" to start the day.

Shawn is a childhood friend of Matt's. Shawn is a proud left handed person but Matt is always the first person to tell him that right is always right. Shawn and Matt have had many experiences together such as birthday trips to Windsor, Mission Trips to Toronto, and were even together when his Cruze hit 100k Miles on the magnificent mile in Chicago. A fun fact about Shawn is he has become a massive Alabama fan after buying a discounted pair of Alabama shorts on vacation!

Conar is a childhood friend of Matt. Conar and Matt grew up playing sports together like football and basketball. One thing Matt knows about Conar is that he is the worst navigator of all time getting Matt lost in downtown Detroit while going to a Tigers game and almost putting Matt in a ditch while giving last minute directions headed to a high school hockey game. Conar and Matt have had fun experiences together traveling to Toronto, Niagara Falls, and many sporting events. A fun fact about Conar is that is has been adopted as a Philadelphia sports fan while he lived there for 3 years going to school at Temple!

Zach (Whitey) and Matt met in high school when he played on a joined hockey team with Brendan, Jason, and Zac. Whitey and Matt sparked a friendship the first time Matt went over to his house and saw himself in Whiteys rocket football picture book of Whitey tackling Matt during a football game from when we they were kids. Whitey and Matt spent a lot of time together at CMU when he would come up and visit Matt at school for many parties. Whitey and Matt also love being line mates in their beer league hockey games. A fun fact about Whitey is that his dad refers to Matt as "Culvers Boy" dating back to when Matt worked for the restaurant and made the family some mean concrete mixers!

Aaron is a child hood friend of Matt. Aaron and Matt grew up playing all kinds of sports together like basketball and baseball. As neighborhood boys, Aaron and Matt (along with the other neighborhood boys) created some games together we'll always remember including net ball, tennis ball, and our 7 outs basketball game. Aaron and Matt have never backed down from a classic sports debate as well. A fun fact about Aaron is that he moved to Alexandria, Virginia to begin his career in Nuclear Engineering, but he will always be a neighborhood boy!

Eric and Mary have known each other since they were little because their dads have been friends since they were in the Marines together. Eric and Mary were roommates for almost 2 years when Mary first moved to Grand Rapids. Through Mary, Matt and Eric have become great friends as well. Eric took Matt to his first rock concert. They all play song trivia on Sunday's together at the Log Cabin. We are so lucky to have a friend who has positively impacted both of our lives stand up and officiate our wedding!
