Summer semi-formal: the reception will take place outside, unless weather is an issue! Sundresses, suits and Sunday best are encouraged! Match the theme by wearing simple florals and pastels, and avoid dark colors. And women, do not wear white! Please NO jeans, t-shirts, shorts or casual wear. We look forward to seeing our loved ones in their best summer semi-formal attire!

Our wedding ceremony will take place at Valley Baptist Church in the main sanctuary. The address is 255 Rigg Road Valparaiso, IN 46383. See you there!

Our wedding reception will take place at the Decker-VanderWoude home located at 143 S Country Road 325 E, Valparaiso, IN

Follow the signs! Instead of turning left down 325 E towards the house, you will turn right and park down the road. Please park leaving enough room for cars to still get through, as well as not blocking any other guests in. If you or someone in your party has trouble walking or cannot park too far away, you may either park in the driveway or across the street to be closer to the house.

Gifts are welcome! Take a look at our registry for gifts that are needed for our home. Cash gifts are especially appreciated and can be deposited in the card box on the gift table.

The ceremony will begin at 3 P.M. There will be a time of sips and charcuterie at the church before heading over to the reception. The reception will begin at 5:15 P.M. and end with the bride and groom's send off at 9:30 P.M.

No, our wedding will be alcohol free, and all guests will NOT be permitted to bring their own alcohol. If any guest brings alcohol, they will be asked to leave. Thank you for respecting us and our venue.
