Let's go back to October 2021... I was in my apartment in Wilmington, preparing to go on a double date with my twin sister. I had little interest in going, but Hannah was going... and her date had a friend in town. Later down the line, I learned this friend had a big part to play in planning this double date. ;) That friend was David Cooke. The most confident and persistent boy I'd ever met. At first, I was not too thrilled by the attention. I was a junior in college, swimming and enjoying the single life with my girlfriends. However, David did not give up easily, and it didn't take long for me to see what a caring and loving heart he had. We started dating the following February! David would drive to Wilmington every weekend to see me. We met each other's families, went on trips, and ate a lot of good food together. We were young, in love, and still had much growing up to do! In November of 2022, David and I took a break from our relationship with no certainty that we would end up together. Although, I prayed for that every day. We each had time to grow up, figure out what we wanted, and grow in our relationship with the Lord. &amp; as always, the Lord was so faithful. David and I got back together in June of 2023, and it has been the most healthy and fruitful time of our lives. We know that more than anything, we love each other, we love the Lord, and we want to spend our lives serving Him together. We got engaged on May 16th, 2024, after a day of travel troubles. We were headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, but got stuck in Austin, Texas, on the night David planned to propose. &amp; in true David fashion, he dropped to one knee right outside our hotel in Austin. A bad day quickly turned into the best day of our lives!! Thankfully, we made it to Jackson Hole and had the most amazing trip, celebrating our step towards marriage while surrounded by God's creation. We spent all weekend in awe of the Lord's plans and His faithfulness to us and our story.&nbsp; NOW LET'S GET MARRIED!!!
