This Art Deco boutique hotel offers vintage charm with modern updates. All rooms include a little taste of pied-à-terre living with a fully equipped kitchenette. The onsite tearoom has been reimagined into a café that does a glorious brunch and features a mid century lunch counter that coils around the dining room like a Formica serpent. Located right on the edge of downtown, the neighborhood is full of restaurants/bars and is walking distance to the Milwaukee Art Museum and Cathedral Square.

This cozy and slightly twee inn has received the Ann & Tom Johnston seal of approval many times over. The rooms are perched over an Irish pub which offers a wonderful complimentary breakfast to all overnight guests. We personally recommend the Bubble n' Squeak and birdbath-sized Bloody Máires.
