Most couples who meet online have sites like Tinder or Hinge to thank. In typically atypical fashion, for Mary and Max it was LinkedIn. Mary sent a message in September of 2020 titled “You came highly recommended to me, Max!” to which he promptly responded, and their story began.
Mary was recruiting Max to the gulf coast of Florida for a newly created position where she worked at Power Design. Over the course of a chaotic and prolonged hiring process, the two got to know each other better through conversations that they found sparingly included work topics. Several months later, Mary closed the deal and Max was on his way from Charlotte to St. Pete.
Fast-forward a year, Max’s opportunity to close an even bigger deal came. On a periodic Recruiter “one-on-one” lunch with Max, Mary not-so-subtly let slip that she was back on the dating scene. Ever the suave professional, Max waited a healthy 74 seconds after acquiring this new information before immediately inviting her out on their first date.
Countless incredible, spontaneous, and heart-filling dates later, Mary and Max are unbelievably excited to celebrate their most fun day yet with each and every one of you.
