Our Story❤️

Picture of Our Story❤️

Our story begins way back in 2006, where Clay and I met on a bus trip to a Yankees game. His cousin, Casey, has been my best friend since diapers, and, when we were younger, I would regularly go on their family trips with them to Gloversville. I remember asking Casey who Clay was when he walked onto the bus, and I adored him from afar the entire day. After that, whenever I took a trip to NY with her family, it was all about trying to see Clay again. We always had so much fun together and had an instant connection! We would play truth or dare and always tell Casey and our other cousin Bubba, to dare us to kiss one another.

We’d go years at a time without seeing each other but we would always find our way back to one another. There would be random ‘Happy Birthday’, ‘How have you been’, and ‘You should come see me’ messages throughout the years, but I didn’t see Clay again until he temporarily moved to PA in 2013. During that time, we would try to see one another every chance we could. Nights at the OCP, card nights at his and Casey’s house, etc. And it was during this time when we created our first beautiful and amazing daughter.

Although our family was created in 2014, life circumstances got in the way of our relationship. Mistakes were made, regrets were had, and Clay and I lost touch. Though the situation wasn’t ideal, Clay always reassures me that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.

In 2023, we came back into contact after almost ten years and started living the life we should have always been living.

We were instantly inseparable. From staying in hotels, meeting in Cooperstown, and day trips from PA to NY, we found ways to constantly be together. Without a doubt, we knew we were meant to be together. Clay then decided to quit his job in NY. He picked up his entire life to move in with me in PA. We lived in PA for almost two years, and during that time, we brought our beautiful son, Dawson Matthew, into the world. Once we found out we were pregnant AGAIN, we realized that moving to NY would be the best choice for our family, as there are more job opportunities and family close by. We found a place to rent, sold our house in PA as quickly as possible, and with the help of our family and a bunch of his friends, we moved to NY in one day!

A few months later we added our final piece to the family, Miss Ada Grace. Now we’re both working and figuring out this thing called life together. There are hard days we aren’t sure will ever end, but we try to enjoy the baby cries and little footsteps as much as we can because we know how fast it all goes.

From meeting each other at 11 years old, to now twenty years later, I think we both somehow knew we’d ultimately end up together. And here we are! Four kids later, planning our wedding, and loving each other more and more every single day! Life is a messy whirlwind, and I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner to enjoy the ride with. I can absolutely say we were meant to be and are complete soulmates! Here’s to becoming a Williams!
