We met back in 2011, when we worked at AMF Pin-O-Rama. We don't have your typical boy meets girl, couple falls in love, and they live happily ever after story. Instead, we have what you would consider a girl chasing a boy and a boy being cautious type of story.

Rob was a machine mechanic and I was the lane waitress and there was one day in particular that matters to how we first met, and that is the day I really saw Rob for the first time. He was coming out of the back, covered in grease from working on the machines, and I remember being instantly smitten with this tall, muscular and hairy guy. Granted at the time I was already in a relationship, but there was just something about Rob I couldn't put my finger on and wanted to get to know him.

Over the next few months of me endlessly flirting with Rob, trying to get him to open up a little more, he finally let down his walls and started to allow us to get to know each other and become close friends. We talked about everything, took our breaks together and we would wait for one another at the end of our shift. It got to the point where I was driving Rob home from work and hanging out with him on his porch where we would talk until 4:00 am. One day in particular, after us becoming friends, that I knew I was in love with Rob. We were outside of our work, waiting on Rob's brother to pick him up and I was sitting on the arm rail. As we were talking, I decided to stretch back on the rail, causing myself to be flung forward as I was getting up and I ended up throwing myself off the rail onto the ground in a face plant. Rob, while laughing hysterically to the point he was crying, laid on the dirty cement next to me. That right there was the light bulb going off, my sign to tell me he was the one. I ended my former relationship to be with Rob and before even asking him out, I blurted out to him that I loved him. Lucky for me, he felt the same.

8 years later, we have lived in 4 states. New York, Georgia, Rhode Island and lastly Arizona. Rhode Island was the place where we really grew into our relationship, we made a lot of great friends, we adopted our cat, Figgy and was becoming a family. Rob found his career as a Software Engineer and was setting the pace for our future. After 4 years in RI, we took a leap of faith packed up our lives, and moved across the country to Arizona. We added a new family member, our dog, Bentley.

Who knows what the next few years will take us. What we do know is that we are excited to become husband and wife and cannot wait to have you share this long awaited day with us!
