Our Wedding

Like many love stories these days, ours started online.We met for the first time at Cucina 503 for dinner. Mary asked Ian all kinds of questions that night, and he answered every one with his usual calm and warmth demeanor. At dinner, Ian mentioned he’d been wanting to visit new churches, and Mary invited him to come with her that Sunday. What started as a simple plan turned into one of our first shared moments of faith and connection.As our relationship grew, we treasured our time getting to know each other’s friends and families, who welcomed us with so much love and support.As we spent more time together, we naturally started sharing the things we love most. Ian shared his love for his Korean culture, his passion for golf, and his competitive side when it comes to gaming. Mary shared her love for staying active, her joy for shopping, and the special bond she has with her dog, Nala. Experiencing each other’s worlds helped us see life through new eyes and brought us even closer together.What started as a few messages online has grown into the most meaningful love of our lives. We’re so grateful for everyone who’s been part of our journey, and we can’t wait to celebrate this new beginning with all of you.

Located just outside Augusta in Martinez, Savannah Rapids Park is one of the area’s most beautiful outdoor spots — perfect for a morning walk or afternoon adventure. The park overlooks the Augusta Canal Headgates, where the canal meets the Savannah River, and features scenic waterfalls, wooded trails, and panoramic water views. Enjoy a walk or bike along the canal towpath, rent kayaks or paddleboards, or simply enjoy a picnic by the river.

Located right on the Augusta Riverwalk, the Morris Museum of Art is a charming stop for guests who enjoy art, history, or just a quiet afternoon indoors. It’s the first museum in the country dedicated to the art and artists of the American South, featuring colorful paintings, photography, and rotating exhibits that capture Southern life and landscapes.

Rhinehart’s is a fun, casual seafood restaurant. They serve oysters, shrimp, and other Southern favorites in a laid-back setting with picnic tables and string lights. It’s a great spot to relax and grab a bite with friends or family.

If you love good food and great desserts, The Boll Weevil is a must! It’s a charming little café right on the Riverwalk, known for its cozy feel and incredible homemade cakes — locals say they’re the best in town. Stop by for lunch, a slice (or two) of cake, and a relaxing break during your stay in Augusta.
