The Ceremony will be at Elks Park in Muskegon. This is a private camp ground, that we have access to as Elks Members. The park will be winterized by our wedding date and the bathroom facilities will be closed. Although we anticipate a brief ceremony, please plan accordingly. The Reception will be at the Watermark 920, which is an event space less than a mile from the Delta Hotel, which is where our hotel block is set up.

Yes, we are asking all guests to be vaccinated. If you have chosen to not get vaccinated, we will miss you, but respect your decision. If anyone, vaccinated or not, does not feel well on the day of our celebration, we ask that you stay home for the safety of everyone. It is our sincere hope that you will be able to attend, and we are doing our best to navigate planning a wedding during a pandemic.

Cocktail attire is appropriate - Our Ceremony will be either outside in a field, or if it is raining, outside under an open-sided pavilion. We would recommend coats for the ceremony. The reception space is large and in doors with a place for coats and jackets.

We have a strict guest list, and assigned seating. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Outside our direct nieces and nephews, this will be a kid free event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Muskegon Michigan is about 40 miles west of Grand Rapids. Located on Lake Michigan, Muskegon has beautiful beaches, great sunsets, but often cooler Fall weather. Muskegon does have an airport but it is small with direct flights to and from Chicago. The Grand Rapids airport is the next closest airport, and about a 40 minute drive from Muskegon. The Detroit Metro Airport (about 3 hours away) and the Chicago airports (3 and a half hours away) are the biggest, and closest airports after that. Muskegon is a town that requires a car to get around.

Yes, there will be an open bar for our family and friends to enjoy responsibly. Please note, Watermark 920 has a strict policy about outside alcohol. They reserve the right to end our event early if outside alcohol is brought into the venue or in the park lot. Please help us keep the party going and don't bring booze.

Right now, we are currently watching covid numbers and are hoping to have a rather large wedding in October. We sent out a limited number of save the dates, in order to be cautious about guest list numbers.

Both Ray and Mary have decided to keep their own names post-wedding.
