Our Wedding

Scott and Mary Pat first met through mutual friends (thanks, Dave &amp; Kaycee!) at an art show in 2022. They were chatting and getting to know each other until Scott announced he had to leave…to go on a blind date! Their story picked back up a few months later at the wedding of the same friends. They ran into each other at the hotel bar, and this time Scott stuck around and bought Mary Pat a margarita. He asked her on a date to a local street fest, and they have been inseparable ever since.

Parking at The Arbory

While The Arbory does not have a dedicated parking lot, we have secured a private lot a short walk away for added ease with parking. The lot is located at Mitchell Elementary School (2233 W Ohio), with the entrance to the lot located directly behind the school on Race Street. There is also ample free street parking along Grand Ave, Leavitt, Oakley and Ohio streets. Ride Share through Uber or Lyft is another easy choice so you can enjoy the party safely!

WHERE TO STAY

There are a million places to stay in Chicago! Instead of reserving a block of rooms at one hotel, we are providing a discount code at the Hyatt Place Wicker Park and the Hyatt House West Loop/Fulton Market. Both Hyatt hotels are equidistant from the wedding venue. There are many other hotel choices in the nearby West Loop/Fulton Market, River North, and Downtown neighborhoods including The Emily Hotel, The Hoxton, Homewood Suites by Hilton West Loop, and more. There are also many options on AirBnb and VRBO.
