Our Story
 
It all started way back in elementary school &#8212; in Fairbanks, Alaska, to be exact &#8212; where Tyler and Mary first met as kids. They spent their days on the playground and building snowmen together, completely unaware that they&#8217;d one day be building a life together instead.
 
Not long after, life took them in different directions. When Tyler moved away, they lost touch for nearly 16 years. But fate &#8212; and a little encouragement from both of their moms &#8212; had other plans.
 
When they finally reconnected, it didn&#8217;t take long to realize they were exactly what the other had been missing all along. A match made in heaven, as they like to say!
 
Between 2024 and 2025, they navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship, but their bond only grew stronger. So, in the summer of 2025, they decided to take a leap of faith and close the gap &#8212; because when you know, you know.
 
Before Mary&#8217;s big move, Tyler planned a special moment at one of their favorite places in Fairbanks: Wander Lake. It was there, almost a year after asking Mary to be his girlfriend, that he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. &#10084;&#65039;
 
Now, as they look forward to their July 2026 wedding, Tyler and Mary are beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

What are the wedding colors?

Our wedding colors are white, champagne, blush pink, and sage green. We ask that guests please avoid wearing these colors, or only keep them as small accents in your outfit.

What should I expect for venue parking?

There is plenty of free parking available on-site with immediate access to the venue.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you're seated and settled.

When do I need to have my RSVP in?

We kindly request that you RSVP by April 12th to help us finalize our guest count and arrangements.

How do I RSVP?

Please use the RSVP form on our website - it only takes a minute! Or mail back the bottom portion of your wedding invitation.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Yes. The ceremony and reception will be taking place at 11141 Lewis Loop, Wasilla, AK 99623. Starting at 2:00 PM on July 12th, 2026.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that guests make other arrangements for their children under 13. Thank you for understanding!

Will dinner be served?

Yes! A catered buffet dinner from Hula Hands will be provided for all guests.

Will there be an open bar?

We won't be serving alcohol, but we'll have a fully stocked non-alcoholic beverage cart ready to keep you hydrated and happy throughout the celebration!

Are you registered anywhere?

Yes! You can find our registry on our website under the "Registry" tab. Your presence is the best gift of all, but if you'd like to give something, we've included a few ideas.

Can we send a gift instead of bringing it to the wedding? 

Absolutely! We'd appreciate gifts being sent directly to our home to make things easier on the wedding day. Our address is on the invitation you received in the mail.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony - we'd love for you to be fully present with us. Our photographer will share photos afterward! After the ceremony/ during reception, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

What is the weather like that time of year?

It is typically warm and sunny, but we suggest bringing a light jacket for the evening.
