Calling all you Baseball fans... Why not catch a game

The Cincinnati Reds, a baseball team that traces its roots back to the first-ever professional franchise in 1869, took its name from clothing worn by players. The 1869 team was named the Red Stockings after the bright red knee-high socks worn by the players, known then as ballists.

Seriously... if you can catch a game while your in town this stadium is GORGOUS! The park is styled around the history of Cincinnati... with Tall Stacks (mimicking that of the old steam ships that once travelled the Ohio River). After every Reds home run fireworks shoot out of the tall stacks!

Mary is a total Science and History buff/nerd and spent a large amount of time growing up in this museum center.

If you're looking for a day trip on a rainy day come check this place out! Also ask someone about the "talking corners" and the Rookwood tiles.
