Aidan and Maryanne met at Penn State THON during their freshman year of college. Unlike the conventional first date, Aidan and Maryanne spoke straight through the night into the early morning. The following year, when the two returned for their sophomore year at Penn State, Aidan came right up to Maryanne in his fraternity house, and… the rest was history. Aidan asked Maryanne to be his girlfriend on July 18th, 2019. A date that now has so much meaning. When thinking of a wedding date nothing else felt right other than to get married on the day their relationship officially began. They studied abroad, Maryanne in London and Aidan in Lisbon meeting spontaneously in different countries across Europe. They graduated from Penn State and spent the next 3 years long distance from Pennsylvania to New York. After countless hours spent on the Amtrak, Maryanne and Aidan decided to officially settle on Long Island. Maryanne and Aidan both feel so lucky to have the best family and friends throughout their relationship, most of who have been there since the early fraternity party days! They are looking forward to starting their lives together on Long Island and seeing where this next journey takes them.🤍 We cannot wait to celebrate with you all exactly 7 years to the day when our relationship began. We could not be more excited!
