Jacob and I met at Good Shepherd Church in the most romantic way two can meet- being introduced by an ex. Ha, no really, we share a mutual love of one of our best friends whom one of us also happened to date once upon a time. But while the budding of our friendship was awkward, the blooming of our relationship was.. Also awkward. We tiptoed around our feelings through encounters at church on Sunday mornings for months then eventually started to text, which led Jacob to a back porch date with me at the Damiens’ house while Ali and Jonathan did the Lord’s work and kept a watchful eye from a distance. It was on our first date that we talked about getting married and truthfully we’ve known since then that this day would come, so we thought it was about time we told you guys. You mean so much to us and we can’t wait to celebrate this love we’ve found with y’all. Come expecting awkward- it’s our specialty.
