Q + A

What is 'Church Night' and Why is it Relevant?

Church Night is an award-winning church service themed comedy show. Our second meeting was at the August 2013 show, in which we both performed. The cast also hosted the Halloween Circus and several other of Jonny's events at Black Cat. We were both regular attendees of 'Some Souls Church' services, where congregants greeted one another with high fives, sang pop songs as hymns, and took part in a "shots and tots" communion. What is the Dress Code?

Come as you are. We want you to be comfortable and be yourself. If you want to wear a suit or a dress, we're sure you'll look gorgeous. If you would rather wear jeans and a t-shirt, we can't wait to see how fabulous you look. We're having a pot luck wedding at a private residence; you do you.

Are Kids Welcome?

Yes! Your entire family is welcome, though we want to give you a heads up that our less-than-traditional ceremony involves a comedy show designed for adults and as such may include adult language and themes. If you don't think your kids are mature enough for that, it's more than fine to skip the ceremony and join us for the pot luck/jam session/hang afterward. Check the event details on the home page for the timing of events.

Do I *have* to bring food for the pot luck?

Please do not feel obligated to bring food, especially if you're coming from out of town. We'll also have some catered dishes from a variety of our favorite restaurants, so there will be plenty of food. Whether you are bringing food or not, we'd love for you to share a recipe for our wedding album cookbook. Just make a duplicate of this template, fill in your own recipe's details, and save it in this folder! If you would like to bring something, we kindly ask that you let everyone know what it is in this spreadsheet.
