In our college town of Oxford, Mississippi, MaryJo worked at a lively bar on the square. One evening, Briggs walked in with his friends and instantly felt a spark. Two and a half years later, after moving to a new state and creating a life together, we returned to Oxford. In the Grove, a place filled with cherished memories, Briggs surprised MaryJo with a proposal. She joyfully said yes, and our journey from friends to life partners began.
