Kaitlynn and Maryrose met their first day of orientation weekend at Siena College, and it was love at first sight. If anyone besides Nick were to be her soulmate, it would be Kaitlynn. The running joke in this trio is that Nick used to third wheel their dates in college, despite being the one to actually court Maryrose. Kaitlynn is Maryrose’s best friend, her chosen sister, and makes every room worth being in. They share a brain and a heart, and some kind of magic feeling that only happens in the movies. There is not a single day that goes by where Maryrose doesn't have something to share with Kaitlynn, and she is forever grateful to have someone who inherently understands her without even trying.

Nick met Shawn through summer baseball and they became friends through school. Shawn joined the Wiesing family back in 2013 and is the brother that the groom never asked for but is grateful that he got. Their bond continued even when Shawn joined the Air National Guard and was eventually deployed to Kuwait. Shawn and the bride have a lovingly antagonistic relationship which they both enjoy and is founded on mutual affection (The bride did not approve this message). Shawn’s ties as Nick’s brother and his doubtless character made the groom’s choice of Best Man a no-brainer.

Sydney and Nick go wayyyy back, like really. Sydney is Nick's older sister, and she and Maryrose quickly bonded over their common enemy...Nick. The two girls also share a love of all things Disney, Bath & Body Work's candles, and Taylor Swift. Shoutout to Sydney for giving Nick his first experiences of dressing in Drag, and for always being there when he needed her. Some of Nick's favorite childhood memories of his sister were the long car rides to Florida and back to see their grandparents, the summers spent walking down the train trestle behind their house, and fighting over who had the TV remote.

Nicky is the bride's older brother and first best friend. They have been co-conspirators for their whole lives, and are easily each other's favorite person. However much he may love his sister, Nicky could not be happier to finally have a brother. Nick and Nicky's brotherhood is built on a shared love for a variety of odd and/or nerdy topics, ranging from archery and axe throwing, to Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. They even both love the assembly, painting, and lore of Warhammer 40,000 armies. They talk almost daily and never run out of things to say. The groom is truly grateful to have someone willing to uphold the original purpose of "ring bearer" in a groomsman.

The friendship between Maryrose and Giuli truly blossomed after she moved into the Myers' household after approximately 24 hours of dating Nicky (Maryrose's brother). After covid forced everyone to become prisoners of war that shared a bathroom, Giuli also had the misfortune of becoming one of Maryrose's best friends. Maryrose never know what having a sister would be like, and never knew that she wanted one, having grown up with an older brother that's he mostly bullied. There could not have been a more perfect person to show her what being a sister was all about than Giuli. Maryrose doesn't even mind all of the clothes borrowing if it means she gets to talk to Giuli everyday. They are both godmothers to each other's cats, and it is nothing but giggles and gossip when they get together while "the Nicks" spend their alone time kissing or whatever it is they do with their little plastic toys.

Josh and Nick became friends in 8th grade and their friendship only grew as they progressed through high school. They played baseball and basketball together, would stay over at each other’s houses most weekends, and have stayed close friends since graduating high school. Their friendship was forged in fire in a way by being the only two freshman in their year bumped up to the varsity baseball team in high school. When Nick and Josh are together, their IQs drop by half and the laughs never stop.

Anna is Maryrose's self proclaimed First Love, but is happy to pass the torch along to Nick. She is a member of the Golden Trio along with Ariana and Maryrose, and shared just about every class with the bride throughout high school. Maryrose and Anna share an angsty middle schooler's love of all sad music, and overall feeling too much all the time. Their love of all things cerebral including Jane Austen, Shakespeare, and Harry Potter fanfiction has allowed for over a decade of friendship to continue to grow, as long as these two remain big fat nerds. Maryrose doesn't know anyone more thoughtful, kind, and brighter than Anna Canzoneri, and thanks all of this realm's deities that she and Anna had the same schedule every year of high school and were able to fall in love.

As cousins, Nick and Mikayla grew up together. Obviously, being family that grew up two miles apart meant that they's love each other, but they developed a strong friendship as they got older as well. The groom will always remember the harrowing, icy drives up to Mikayla's house to pick her up for school and the countless after-school hangouts. Mikayla is still one of Nick's closest friends. They ended up more like siblings than cousins, and Nick is so happy that she agreed to be one of his groomsmen!

Ariana has been one of Maryrose's besties since they first discovered their shared love of Broadway musicals in their middle school club of nerds. Ariana is a founding member of the Golden Trio formed by Maryrose, Anna, and herself, and these girls have done just about everything together including seeing Taylor Swift live and the original cast of Hamilton (so take that losers). Ariana and Maryrose also have a shared love of being haters, if you couldn't tell. There was never a funnier, snarkier, or more capable person than Ariana Lasher, and the best thing about her is that she knows how awesome she is. Maryrose loves her forever, and has been grateful to Ariana for all of her help throughout the whole process of planning a wedding.

The groom met Will through a mutual friend at the end of their freshman year at Siena, and they ended up having the most in common among their roommates the following year. They bonded over their love of theater, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the upsetting nature of being a met's fan. Nick and Will's closeness has been retained since graduating college through the Snapchat streak they keep and semi-regular golf games during the Summer. Fun Fact: he and Maryrose were in the same 1st grade class before she moved to Dover Plains! It could be said that the groom loves Will, at least in part, due to the fact that they are beer pong partner soulmates. <3

No matter how hard she tries, Maryrose will never be as cool as Alexa. Alexa is the bride's "baby" cousin, and they have formed a life long bond over making fun of their parents. Maryrose would commit any number of crimes for Alexa without a second thought. Alexa's wit is unmatched, and she and Maryrose spend every holiday gaslighting the rest of the family into thinking they were not the one's to dip into the desserts before everyone else. Maryrose can't believe someone she once babysat is such a successful and inspiring grown up now! Nick loves Alexa like the younger sibling he never had, even though she bullies him relentlessly for being an Eagle Scout. She thinks Nick is okay...

Robert has known the bride since 2nd grade, but he still likes the groom better. Robert also attended Siena College with the happy couple, and lived with Nick during their senior year. Rob and Nick share many things, but one of the most important would be their joint duty to operate as the babysitter/caretaker when Maryrose and Kaitlynn are together and need chaperoning. This quartet has gone on numerous trips together over the years, and Rob and Kaitlynn were even present at the couple's engagement. The boys developed a real friendship over the years as they've sat on couches watching each other play video games while they wait for "The Girls" to finish getting ready. Rob is truly a kind soul and Nick and Maryrose are so happy that he'll be there to share their special day.
