On Tuesday, June 24th, we left from Nelson by helicopter and exchanged our vows between the Valhalla and Kokanee mountain ranges. With only our pilot and photographer as witnesses, the evening was intimate and more beautiful than we could have imagined.

While most weddings take months (or even years) to plan, we pulled everything together in just a few days. The days leading up brought uncertainty—unpredictable rain, a helicopter on wildfire duty in Alberta, and no local shops carrying what we needed. But with a little faith and a whole lot of luck, the skies cleared, our helicopter returned to B.C. for maintenance, and expedited shipping came through just in time.
