Our story started in the fall of 2016. Austin was pursuing his electrical career while living in Kincardine. At the same time, Mason was studying in London and enjoying her time at college. Austin noticed Mason through a mutual friend named Jordan, who had posted a photo of Mason on her Instagram story. Austin was instantly drawn to Mason and messaged Jordan to find out who she was, asking, "Who is that angel?" As a good friend, Jordan told Austin all about Mason. Austin then proceeded to message Mason a couple of times on Instagram, but no luck was had.

Our paths finally crossed on Canada Day in 2017 at Trackside Music Festival, and we started talking afterwards. We talked for a couple weeks before going on our first date July 14, 2017, in London. Throughout the summer of 2017, we travelled back and forth between Kincardine and London to see each other, and it became clear that we had something special.

Despite living two hours apart, we made trips to visit each other almost every weekend. As our relationship developed and things got more serious, we decided it was time to move in together. We purchased a lot in November 2020 and started building our home together in September 2021. As one can imagine, building a house taught us A LOT about each other and our relationship grew stronger. We finally moved into our new home in May 2022 and it was everything we had hoped for.

In December of 2022, Austin got down on his knee in Elora and asked Mason if she would marry him! Mason was so excited and was pulling Austin up for a hug before he could even finish. The rest is history and we can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you!
