Our wedding will be dressy casual. It is an outdoor summer wedding so wear something that you will be comfortable in. Please no sweats or hoodies!

We respectfully ask that you only bring the number of people that were allotted on your invitation. If you bring more than that, they will not be allowed in. We are having a private ceremony with close friends and family only. However, our reception will be open to anyone who would like to attend.

We are only having a select few children attend our ceremony. They are welcome to come to the reception, but we encourage you to treat this as a night off or a date night and have some fun!

There is a gravel parking lot across the street from the Lyle Hare Stadium, just a few houses down from Anna and Jake's house. Please consider carpooling, as we cannot guarantee a parking space there.

We ask that your phone either stays in the car or be placed in our designated phone bin before the ceremony starts. We have paid a lot for a photographer to be there and don't want you to get in their way. We promise you can have your phone back afterward, but would like you to stay in the moment.

Our wedding will be an alcohol-free event, with the exception of champagne during the cocktail hour. Our wedding is not going to be an all-night event, and if you want to drink you are more than welcome to go to the numerous bars in downtown Spearfish. Please no “pregaming” and do not bring your own alcohol. It is disrespectful and trashy. If it is obvious you've been doing either of these things, you will respectfully be asked to leave.

Of course there will be food! We will be having pulled pork and chicken, along with zucchini, asparagus, and various salads such as potato and macaroni salad. We will also be having a snack bar! We promise you won’t leave with an empty tummy!
