Aaron and Matisse became True Aggies with each other.

First picture as boyfriend and girlfriend. Neither of us remember what day we actually started dating, but this was taken about a week after.

Surprisingly, Matisse agreed to go with Aaron to his family's Thanksgiving festivities - after only dating for a month! It was probably the draw of Dutch Bro's (a favorite from her mission) that got her to go.

Aaron came Black Friday shopping with Matisse, her mom and her sister! He even picked out this +A outfit for her!

Aaron came back from Christmas break early and surprised Matisse as she was getting back from a trip.

Aaron woke up EARLY to drive Matisse to the airport for her spring break trip in London.

Aaron’s Birthday! No birthday cake or candles in a college apartment but we improvised. Aaron liked the ice cream better anyways.

Aaron finally convinced Matisse to try out one of his favorite hobbies - shooting! Matisse won in Battleship...because she was using a rifle and Aaron was using a handgun.

Took a visit to Aaron’s hometown (Boise) and went on a bike ride (and Aaron shaved 😳)

Summer hammocking! Hammocking is one of our favorite activities, possibly because we first kissed while hammocking! 💋

At the end of the summer we broke up for all of two weeks. It was really good in the long run but definitely hard at the time. This was our first picture after we got back together.

Olive Garden has become one of our favorite restaurants. Matisse loves Italian food but Aaron isn't a fan. He does like the soup here though so it's a good compromise.

More football. At this point Matisse was having bad pain from an ovarian cyst. She basically leaned on Aaron this entire game.

Matisse had surgery on her cyst and was diagnosed with endometriosis. This ended up being a trial that brought a lot of growth in our relationship.

Still made it to football games though! During this game we were featured on TV!

Halloween Party! Quick story - when we'd been dating for a month Aaron wanted to do couple's costumes for Halloween. Matisse thought that was a lot of commitment and Aaron shrugged it off and said "Oh well, we'll do it next year." We had planned to do go to a Halloween Party as Peter and Wendy this year but Matisse lost the tickets!

Aaron always liked to come to Matisse's finance classes. Partially because he loves finance and investing, partially because it gave Matisse more of an incentive to go.

Matisse went with her family to Hawaii for Christmas - which meant a lot of picture-sharing and a lot of video-chatting!

After Matisse got back from Hawaii, Aaron left for a gun training program, and when he got back, Matisse left for her internship. There was about a whole month where we didn't see each other! We finally met back up and took Aaron's first trip to IKEA

More video-chatting! After the holidays Matisse started an internship at KPMG down in Salt Lake. She has an offer to work there after she graduates and Aaron will be working at Hill Air Force base!

...and more video-chatting. It was hard only seeing each other on weekends during this time. Aaron would come down and crash at his friends or on Matisse's couch

Aaron came down on Valentine's Day and we found an awesome Indian restaurant with mango ice cream to go to. We are both SUCKERS for Indian food!

For Valentine's Day the only thing Aaron wanted was a bamboo plant. So of course Matisse got him one

Friend’s Weddings

Matisse introduced Aaron to a lot of restaurants, Nelson’s Frozen Custard being one of his favorites.

Matisse is back from Salt Lake and quarantine begins! Believe it or not this miny razor is Aaron's preferred vehicle over a four-wheeler.

Quarantine boredom sets in. Matisse convinced Aaron to do a puzzle with her - it exhausted him.

Took a little road trip down to St. George. Complete with car karaoke with ginger beer bottles as microphones. Aaron LOVES ginger, and Matisse has come to love ginger too...but still can't do ginger beer.

With the weather warming up, we started meeting up for lunch and making it a picnic outside occasionally.

Aaron took Matisse on a date to the fun park. He teased her for wanting to spin the wheel because the odds are so low...and then she won the jackpot! We spent our winnings on a plethora of nostalgic toys.

Back to St. George - this time with a group of friends! It was fun to be able to host them together!

Matisse recently got into acro yoga and of course roped Aaron in.

Officially engaged! Aaron took Matisse on a scavenger hunt that ended at this waterfall. She was so surprised! P.S. Aaron MADE the ring box that he proposed with.

Now officially betrothed, Matisse brought Aaron up to her family's cabin in Alpine, Wyoming!

And introduced him to the Bar J Wranglers

Engagements! Matisse loved this location because it reminded her of her mission in Oregon. Aaron loved this because of how good Matisse looked in her dress.

Most recently took a quick trip to Lagoon with Aaron's work. And the adventure just gets better from here!
