Matt and CJ met on the Upper West Side during the pandemic, just as they were opening the Lululemon store at Columbia. What started as a shared project quickly became something more—especially after one scary movie and a homemade dinner from CJ. From there, it was Real Housewives marathons, endless laughs, and making memories all over New York City.
Their worlds blended easily. Friend groups became chosen family, and Drag Race nights became a weekly tradition. Together, they traveled—from Lake Norris to Fort Thomas, Pittsburgh to Mexico—always finding new places to fall in love with and new ways to fall deeper for each other.
Eventually, they built a home in Brooklyn with their two ridiculous, lovable doodles. Then, in the winter of 2024, Matt proposed on their rooftop, surrounded by the community they’d grown together.
Now married, their story keeps unfolding—full of love, laughter, and the kind of everyday magic that makes life truly beautiful.
