We met in December of 2021 and instantly clicked over drinks and (very loud) live music at Blue Top in Chamblee, a restaurant that quickly became one of our favorites. Being outdoorsy at heart, Matt took a risk and invited Mary Claire to go rock climbing as our second date, and our adventure hasn't stopped since.

Together, we've explored many new states, spent lots of time outside through hiking and fly-fishing, and even started a new tradition of visiting state high points together (check out our list below!). But our favorite trip so far was our Freese family vacation to our beloved Hilton Head, where Matt proposed under the big oak tree in Harbor Town. We cannot wait to start this new chapter, and we're so excited to celebrate with you in November!
