What is the dress attire for a Catholic Wedding Ceremony?
Catholic weddings require modest attire, this may seem strict, please respect our wishes or you may be asked to leave the ceremony.
For ladies this means:

-No deep skirt slits
-Nothing see-through
-No tight clothing, UNLESS private parts are adequately covered
-No crop tops!
-If your dress has a lot of back exposed-then please wear a shawl over the dress while inside the church
-No predominantly white attire
-A traditional Latin Mass veil/mantilla is optional
Keep in mind ladies that there will be a lot of standing, sitting, and kneeling, so dress accordingly!
For gentlemen:
-No graphic t-shirts
-No cut-out sleeves
-No head coverings while inside the church
-No shorts
-Male attire only, this means no dresses or skirts
-No predominantly white attire

If you have a plus one, your guest RSVP format will be:
Example: Sue's Guest
What if I have never been to a Catholic Mass?
That is okay! We will have pamphlets at the church that gives a guide to the mass (we will include prayers and songs for anyone who would like to follow along). In the pamphlet, there will be guidance when we sit, stand, or kneel.
Can I take the Eucharist (the bread and wine) at a Catholic Mass?
In the Catholic church, we truly believe that the bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus. This means that only confirmed Catholics can received the Eucharist.
If you are unable to receive the Eucharist, you may come to the priest and cross your arms across your chest for a blessing, or you may stay seated. It is up to you!
There will be many guests who are not Catholic, so do not be afraid! No one will judge you!
Are there handicapped accommodations?
Yes, both the church and the reception venue have accommodations.
The church has a ramp and handicapped seating area.
The reception is in a venue on the second floor, and there is an elevator to get up and down.
There are handicapped restrooms .
