Our story began in the height of the COVID pandemic. Both of us were looking to improve out language skills. We both sent a 'hello' message that eventually led to us meeting in person in Brazil in 2021 after Matt booked an AirBnb and invited Ellen to travel with him.

After an amazing trip in Florionapolis, Brazil the two began dating long distance. After a trip together to Europe in January of 2022, the couple planned out Ellen's move to live with Matt in Chicago.

Since the move to Chicago, the couple has since lived in two different cities in Southern California after moving for Matt's job. In mid 2023 Matt and Ellen did officially tie the knot in an extremely small ceremony.

This leaves them the opportunity to have a celebration with the closest friends and family for the marriage of them both and attendees from the USA and Brazil at the same event.
