Many of you know our story, but for those who don't, we’ll share a little here. We first met more than 20 years ago when I moved to Kansas City and my cousin Brenden was nice enough to let me hang out with the guys, one of whom was Matt.

There were many weekends spent as a group at The Other Place, playing cards, and just hanging out. As time passed, we all married, had children and lived our own lives, with Matt and I only occasionally seeing each other during the next 15 or so years at special events and gatherings.

Then, as many stories do, our life plots twisted and turned, our situations drastically changed, and new chapters began. In our case, those two kids who met two decades earlier circled back together as only the Master Author could have designed--finding two same but different people, both of who were a little lost, a little broken, and learning how to begin again.

And so we started our sequels together.

From old friends to renewed friends to more than friends to now - we’ve spent the last four years discovering that each other was the one. The one we’re meant to do life with: the one who makes us better, who loves unconditionally, and who will always be there.

And given where we’ve been and that we’re embarking on forever, it only seems fitting we give a little nod to that.
