Zoe and Matt met the summer of 2014. Zoe was working at Central Charters on the spit and Matt was running charters that summer. Matt would come in every morning at 5:30am to grab the manifest for his charter. One morning, Zoe did a favor for Matt and some passengers that had forgotten to get fishing licenses (yikes) and he offered to take her to dinner. After that, they spent the rest of the summer having dinners, hiking and falling in love. Over the last 7 1/2 years, Matt and Zoe have built a family and a life together.•••We are so excited to celebrate with our family and friends on July 7th 2022, the anniversary of our first date! xo,Zoe + Matt

Our Story

GETTING TO HOMER • When traveling to Homer, guests will fly into Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). • Homer is located on the Kenai Peninsula, about 220 miles south of Anchorage. • There are two ways to travel from Anchorage to Homer: driving or flying. Below are a few options to help our guests decide which way of travel works best for you! Flying from Anchorage to HomerRavn Air is the main regional airlines that flies from Anchorage to Homer. Please note: Rental cars are not available in Homer, and there are no Uber / Lyfts – however, there are some local taxi companies available for transportation while in town. Flying to Kenai then Driving to HomerRegional airlines that fly to Kenai include Ravn Air and Grant Aviation. Rental cars are available at the Kenai Airport through either Budget or Avis for transportation to Homer. (1 ½ hour drive) Driving from Anchorage to HomerDriving is definitely our number one recommendation for traveling to Homer. (It also can be a more affordable option than flying!) The drive from Anchorage to Homer is about 4 – 5 hours (depending on traffic) - but the scenic drive will make the time fly by! There are several stops worth making while driving down the Kenai Peninsula.
