Matt and Beau met through the dating app "Bumble" in March, 2017. Matt made the first move by saying the smooth line of "Hey man, you're really cute! What're you up to?" Beau took the bait, and they set up plans for a date at a wine bar later that week. Before the date, however, they made the connection that Beau actually worked with Matt's sister Hallie on a twelve person team (small world!). Their first date went really well. They chatted about everything, and bonded over their mutual love of Funfetti cake, Netflix, traveling, and dogs (well, that last one may have been a stretch on Matt's part). Matt filled any awkward pauses with "well... cheers!" (but Matt denies this). It wasn't long until they had their second date -- in fact it was the very next day. After two years of dating, traveling, laughing, and snuggling, Matt asked Beau to marry him at the very same bar where they had their first date. Beau said "Yes!" They are so excited to get married in one of their favorite places, Palm Springs, surrounded by their closest friends and family. They can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
