In October of 2022, we met through mutual co-workers who thought our personalities and sense of humor would be perfect for each other. We set up a coffee date, stayed hours past closing, just lost in conversation. We have been laughing and enjoying adventures together ever since.

Check out this website for things to do in Lexington and beyond. https://lexingtonvirginia.com/articles/3-days-30-attractions-30-miles History buffs will have their fill of Civil War experiences in and around historic downtown Lexington. The campuses of Washington and Lee University (276 Years Old), and Virginia Military Institute(185 years old) are both walkable from downtown! Lexington is surrounded by mountains filled with trails and rivers filled with fish. Check out Goshen Pass for our favorite swimming/fishing hole!

Food Around Town

For Dinner Friday and Breakfast/Lunch Saturday:The Wingate is next to a Ruby Tuesday's, across the street from a Waffle House, and around the corner from Rockbridge County Pizza, say hi to Leto when you're there!Lexington has lots of good restaurant options. If you think you would like to go somewhere with reservations, make them soon as that is a busy weekend in town!Some favorites include: The Palms, Devils Backbone Brewery, Bistro on Main, Taps, and Nikos Grill.
