Hayes and Matt's journey began in March 2018 when they crossed paths on the dating app, Bumble. Their first date took place at the cozy Gallo Pelon bar in Raleigh, where sparks began to fly. As their connection deepened, Matt's creativity and culinary skills shone through when he surprised Hayes with a homemade feast of her favorite, tacos al pastor.

Their love for adventure soon led them to Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, where they had their first spontaneous road trip together. This trip marked the start of a whirlwind of epic experiences, including hiking through the Narrows at Zion National Park, sleeping under the stars in Yellowstone, pizza tours of NYC, partying on Bourbon Street, skiing black diamonds, climbing Machu Picchu, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and leaf-peeping in the Rockies.

In January 2020, they decided to make a big move, relocating to Colorado. Here, they've embraced their love for the outdoors, enjoying the breathtaking Rocky Mountains and all the adventure it offers. In November 2022, Matt made their love official by proposing in beautiful Costa Rica, solidifying their commitment to a lifetime of adventure together.
