The love story began on a fall 'Caturday' at the University of Kentucky. Matt spotted Carly across the way at a tailgate. Not wanting to give up the chance to talk to this cute girl that caught his eye, he asked her to be his beer pong partner. Carly and Matt immediately hit it off and soon enough began dating. After college, they moved to Nashville, TN where they explored the botanical gardens of Cheekwood Estates. There, Carly thought to herself "I hope this is where he asks me to marry him". Two years later he got down on one knee and in that very same spot asked his former beer pong parter to be his partner for the rest of his life.
