I awkwardly walked into my 9th grade Biology class and spotted a sexy senior sitting alone. I wondered why he was there but all I remember thinking was, “I want to sit next to that guy!” I spent the year pining over this beautiful creature who no doubt hated being in the freshman Bio class. I remember him handing me my pencil once after I dropped it under his desk but I was probably daydreaming. Four years later, after my graduation, my bestie and I dated these 2 great guys, Matt and Matt. My bestie dated that sexy senior from Bio and I dated his friend. She and I used to joke that we should switch Matts. We each thought the other’s might be a better fit for us at the time. Of course we never told them that! We had a blast that summer enjoying our new found freedom and spending time with our Matts. A “few” years later, Matt and I decided it would be fun to catch up on old times and spent an evening chillin' on my back patio. We reminisced and laughed until long after midnight. In almost an instant, we knew that we had to spend as much time together as possible. We laugh a lot and talk about life. We hike in the woods and try to spend as much time on the water as we can. We can do something or nothing and are pretty much content as long as we're together. And thanks to a crazy year, we already know we are VERY grateful to have each other to lean on when life gets hard. We would like to announce that this summer we plan to celebrate with a small 4th of July wedding on the mountain. I still can't believe I get to marry that sexy senior from Bio...otherwise known as "my bestie’s Matt.” Thankfully, I have her blessing and we are all looking forward to this next chapter of our lives. #caughtapilotte
