Our love story begins on a beautiful morning in Venice, Italy - the birds chirped as the sun peaked over the horizon and reflected through the shimmering canals…

JUST KIDDING, this ain't the movies!

It was a cool fall day in September 2015 when Amanda spotted Matt down the hall from the doorway of her first college dorm room in Springfield, MA as he visited Emilio, one of his hometown friends. Fast forward a few months, and during winter break, Amanda and her roommate decided to celebrate Emilio’s birthday in Peabody. Amidst laughter and games in an overcrowded basement and across a messy beer pong table there was the boy from down the hall again. She couldn’t help but shout “DIBS” (much to their chagrin). One friend in particular proposed a friendly competition - but it was not competition in Matt's eyes.

As the years flew by, we graduated college, only to dive back into coursework for round two. Together we navigated intense days of classes, studying, and clinical work, even surviving a long-distance phase when Matt had a rotation in El Centro California - a perfect excuse for an unforgettable road trip! Over eight years, we've journeyed together, exploring nearly half of the lower 48.

In 2023, we decided to move into our first apartment and found jobs we adore - as a nurse and a Physical Therapist.

Then came June 29th, 2024. Amanda thought it would be just another fun day on the lake with friends, blissfully unaware that she was about to become a fiance. And now, after eight wonderful years together, WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!
