Q + A

What should I wear to the wedding?

There is no dress code, and we want everyone to be comfortable and warm. Jeans are fine, sneakers are fine, dressing up a little bit is fine. Our only ask is no bright neon or distracting colors that may detract from the beautiful coastal scenery in pictures. It would be wise to bring a light rain jacket just in case!

Why a morning ceremony?

The answer to this is two-fold, the first being that we have an evil plan to get people to the coast, have our wedding, then release them to the wonders of the Oregon Coast. We are hoping our out-of-town guests may learn to love it as much as we do. The second is that we are simply morning people. The first time Matt and I met up, it was for coffee and a walk at 7am, so this feels very "us". You'll thank us later.

Can I bring extra guests?

Unfortunately, I have to limit guests to those named on the envelope of your invitation due to our catered brunch (the restaurant will only allow a certain number of people). We also want to keep the ceremony very intimate, so we only invited our closest circle. If you plan to travel with someone who is not part of the wedding day, they are still welcome to join us for the beach romp in the afternoon. I appreciate your understanding in advance.

Should I bring a gift?

Our guests presence is all we want; however cheesy that sounds. However, we welcome any gestures from our loved ones! Since we already have our home and any items we need, we would prefer that people help contribute to our honeymoon fund so that we can fully enjoy our time in Italy and Greece.
